COMPONENT IMPORT/EXPORT
This release adds the import/export of
components from/to IPC-2581 as well as ODB++, GenCAD and Pads ASCII
(import only). BOM data is now imported from IPC-2581 data files.
Full part display, selection, and properties examination is provided.

NEW MACRO LANGUAGE COMMANDS
This release brings new commands to
our powerful Macro language:
- REDLINE - Allows for text only, text balloon, text balloon without
arrow, arrow, line, sketch, delete modes.
- COPYLAYER – Direct, fast method of copying layer data.
- DELETELAYER – Deletes all data on an existing layer.
- MOVELAYER – Moves a layer to a new position in the layer table.
OTHER ENHANCEMENTS AND FIXES
The following are several of the many
general enhancements and fixes available in this release.
- Round, Square, Rectangle, Donut, Oblong and Diamond apertures are
now output as Gerber standard apertures for multiples of 90 degrees
rotation during Gerber export.
- UNITS and PRECISION macro commands now return the current settings
in the $$STATUS variable if no parameters are specified.
- Improved quality of GenCAD exported data.
- Provided solution to display anomaly on systems using Intel HD
3000 display adapter.
- File Save over-write of ODB .tgz after a drag and drop import
prevented.
- Corrected problem with Cam350 panel design via drag & drop not
fully completing.
- Resolved issue with ODB++ import of mill tools not getting the
correct plating status.
- Added ability to change component device color in navigator.
- Resolved issue importing IPC-D356B files from latest Mentor
release.
- GETDESIGNPROPERTY macro no longer fails if requested property does
not exist.
