The KL-620 Microcomputer Sensing and Control System is a comprehensive
sensor/transducer control training system that incorporates
industrial-grade components with various control circuits and
load units. Its modular and closed-loop control circuits allow
implementation of open-ended, individual control loops used in
industrial applications.
The KL-620 uses only industrial-standard
sensors/transducers (0~10V, 4~20mA) and is equipped with RS-232
for computer interface control experiments. Control programs can
be written and down-loaded to the Single-Chip microprocessor on
KL-62001 main unit from computer through RS-232 interface.

THE KL-620 MAIN
UNIT

The main unit incorporates all necessary
equipment for use with the eight standard and eight
optional plug-on training modules. A socketed
industry-standard 8031 microcontroller is fitted to the
system, along with a monitor EPROM, and may be programmed
from an IBM compatible personal computer by way of an
RS-232 link.
The main unit also
contains a 12-bit analogue to digital converter and 12-bit
digital to analogue converter, as well as amplifiers and a
multi-rail power supply.
